This motion piece introduces the Camper Shoes’ “Twins” line, where a pair of shoes are the same but different. Pairing frame-by-frame, rubber-hose style animation with humorous images of “twins” portrays the spunky and traditional design roots of their shoes.
Two of a kind: These first few images introduce the idea of twos being a complete set.
A pair of pears:
The introduction of the idea of twins starts with wordplay, and a pun
intended for a shoe commercial.
Two is better than none:
These two conjoined cherries walking in sync show the joy of having twins who are on the same page, cut from the same cloth (branch).
Ministry of Silly Walks: To animate a walk that feels cheery, I explored some different ways of walking and dancing at the same time.
Better together:
The two halves of the Camper logo rush to get with one another. While they are different
in their own ways, they come together to show Camper’s unique style and attitude.
